Glorious Goodwood was great
Just arrived back from Goodwood, I am not a betting lady but wow it was such fun,
a big thank you to Tim and Sarah Stevens who hosted a fantastic and memorable day.
We all had a little bet and some of our friends were very lucky. We thought Zara
looked elegant and everso pretty in her "Welsh Daffodil" yellow..
I am back on form now so watch this space..
Indulge Yourself with a Swiss Chocolate Bath
I'm on my way to a family wedding in Switzerland, land of clean air, mountains, luxury spas and chocolate!
The Swiss love their chocolate (remember the Lindt bunny) and apparently someone has worked out that each person eats about 23lbs of the stuff every year.
Chocolate also has a growing number of fans because of its qualities as a beauty treatment. Cocoa butter has certainly become a familiar ingredient in many body lotions as the fat content is great for moisturising and nourishing the skin; there are now a number of spas that offer a wider menu of specialist treatments.
While a chocolate body wrap or mousse bath might sound a bit strange, seaweed and mud treatments also took some getting used to at the start and have now become mainstream... something for me to consider while I nibble at my Swiss-made Toblerone!
If you fancy a holiday with a difference, check out this list of the six most indulgent chocolate spas in the world: http://www.travelandescape.ca/2013/02/6-induglent-chocolate-spas/
I'll be back soon - let me know what you think.
